BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) A North Dakota couple who died after a crash that killed their two daughters died of gunshot wounds, a family member said.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that James and Emily Moseley said they were “not afraid” of “shooting Stars” and that the crash was a “very unfortunate accident.”
The newspaper reported that the couple had been on vacation at a lake in North Dakota, near the town of Oceti Sakowin, when their SUV crashed into a semi-tractor trailer, which caught fire.
The Moseleys said their daughters, Emma, 9, and Zoey, 6, were killed in the crash.
The couple was headed to a party in the state capital of Fargo for the weekend when they got lost.
They were driving to a cabin where the party was held.
